The Cocktail Hour: Crucian Rum Punch


This week, Tim together with I are coming to you lot from the beautiful isle of St. Croix inward the US of America Virgin Islands.

The effect is this rum punch using rum, cranberry-raspberry cocktail, together with lime juice.  Here's the recipe...

 INGREDIENTS

 1.5 oz rum
2 oz cranberry-raspberry cocktail
juice of one-half a lime

 In a lowball drinking glass filled amongst ice, squelch inward lime juice. Pour rum in, together with then cranberry-raspberry cocktail. Drink.

 It's that easy...

The Cocktail Hr - Tequila Sunrise

Picture courtesy of Wikimedia Lynt nether CC-BY-SA license The Tequila Sunrise is a real visual drink, the mention coming from the consequence of the ruddy grenadine sitting on the bottom of the orangish drink, giving it the illusion of a sunrise.  It's a bang-up change-of-pace beach drinkable when you lot larn tired of the saltiness of your margarita or the heaviness of your pina colada.  Being that it's amount of orangish juice, it's too a bang-up beginning of vitamin C spell you lot sitting inwards the Sun (hey, gotta convey the positives!). The work I've had amongst this drinkable inwards the by is that the classic recipe...orange juice, tequila, together with grenadine only...has left me amongst an aftertaste that tin best live on described every bit "children's aspirin" taste...the St. Joseph's effect.  It tastes good, but that aftertaste is a fleck annoying.  Even at the bang-up bars that point the bea...
